Summary

Oakland post office postmaster Terrena Moore ordered Michael Choate, a Christian, to stop distributing Christian literature on a public sidewalk 40 feet from the post office. Choate was later arrested for “trespassing” despite the fact that he had remained on public property. The charges were later dropped.
