In 2008, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit upheld a federal judge’s ruling against Temple University’s former “speech code.” ADF attorneys represented a Christian graduate student, Christian DeJohn, whose Constitutional right to express his faith was repeatedly stifled by an overbroad and vague student speech policy.
